Subject: Natalia is in the hospital

Over the last week Natalia has had some sort of gastrointestinal virus. She has been unable to hold down much fluid or take in enough calories. We had to give her small amounts of pediatric electrolyte solution. She could only take about 2 teaspoons every 20 minutes or it would come back up. Therese has been up all night trying to get enough fluid in her. This morning she was very dehydrated and lethargic. Still unable to hold down any fluid. Therese called our pediatric doctors who put her in the hospital tonight. Dr Goodman gave some orders for IV Fluid and order an X-Ray of her intestinal tract to see if there are any blockages. Hopefully she will only be in the hospital a day or maybe two.
