Subject: Our little angel is doing is doing well

Hello to you all,

Natalia came home last Sunday afternoon.  Wow! I have never been so busy.  I am learning how to care for this special gal.   Although I
was extremely overwhelmed the first two days, now I have found a
comfort zone.  Thanks to family and friends.

I am sure you all have seen the poem, Footprints.  It is  about a man talking with God and questioning him on why there are only one set of footprints during some of the hardest times in his life.  Of course, those are the times that God says he carries us through.

Well, I know he is caring me through this challenging time. And I see him in all the loving people who just happen to call just when I need a friend, or the unexpected meal or friend who drops by to help.  So many of you through your emails or calls have given us support.  You have no idea how perfect some of your timing is to our needs here.  I know God is watching out for us and through you and your prayers he is carrying us through.

I know your prayers are helping her.  She is delightful when she is awake and not hungry.  Her intense pain while feeding is gone although she still has the reflux and that does cause her pain after
feeding from time to time.  She still spit I would say Natalia is doing really great as of today.  She is almost two months and although slow in developing due to her condition and her medical complications, I can honestly say I am enjoy loving this little angel.  I do have my days when I feel overwhelmed, although today was not one of them. She is trying to coo, smile and look around.  And we all enjoy holding her.

I need to get some rest so will write more later, Love to you all.
